Prior to founding Critical Point in 2008, Mike spent five years with the Government of Alberta, mostly in Canadian intergovernmental affairs. There he worked on numerous policy issues and special projects. He has a keen understanding of how decisions are shaped, justified and communicated.
Mike comes from a background in both scientific/technical and legal/policy environments, enabling him to quickly engage in a spectrum of policy areas, from social sciences to applied sciences.
He serves as Project Lead, Facilitator and Principal Writer in all engagements.
